The story of Papingo Climbing Crag and the community that made it possible.
Papingo Climbing Crag was first discovered by local climbers in 2023. What began as a few exploratory routes quickly evolved into a major climbing area thanks to the dedication of the local climbing community. Over the past eight years, volunteer developers have spent countless hours establishing routes, improving access, and maintaining the area to create the world-class destination we enjoy today.
The development has always followed sustainable climbing practices, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding ecosystem. All routes were established using stainless steel and galvanized steel bolts to preserve the natural character of the rock.
Our free guidebook includes detailed route descriptions, high-quality photo topos, access information, and safety guidelines. Updated regularly with new routes and current conditions.
